The SW Curriculum is designed to work in conjunction with the follow Personal Help Tools. These Tools represent the "Application" side of what you learn through the Curriculum. The tools are: Critiquing Groups, Message Boards, Email List Groups and more.
Critiquing GroupsA critiquing group is usually defined as a small number of screenwriters that work together, systematically reading and then critiquing fellow members finished screenplays to help them produce a commercial quality product. They assist each other in a team effort to guide each screenwright to create their own good spec script(s). The group members are careful to assist in terms of teaching principles, rather than writing portions of the script for the other members.
SWCG encourages it's groups to work with a script from the beginning of the writing process (idea, character profiles, outline etc) to assisting in the re-writing of the screenplay. They can also bring a completed script to the group.
